BERNARD COUDURIER
Bernard Coudurier is regularly invited to perform in concerts
and teaches in the context of the "master-class" in Europe,
in festivals in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Austria,
in Stanley and Oxford for the « University college of Wales,
as well as in Japan, in Tokyo and Gifu. He was invited for the
opening of the Universiy of Gifu, in Seoul , in Southern Corsica,
in the USA and in Canada. He appears in many concerts
and recordings with reputed
ensembles such as the Collgium Vocale Gent directed by
Philippe Herrewege, the ensemble Alternatim from Friburg the singer Gerard Lesne, Michel Laplénie, Ann Monoyios, Monique Zanetti, Jean-Paul Fouchécourt...
In 1998, the Lausanne Festival de Musique improvisée (festival of musical improvisation) invites three French famous organist for three concerts which will be completly improvised: Michel Chapuis for German baroque music, Bernard Coudurier for French baroque
music and Jean Pierre Legay for contemporary music.
Invited member of the judging panel of the CNSM( the Conservatoire) in Paris and Lyons as well as for international organ competitions, he was invited as a judge for the Lausanne International Bach
competition in Switzerland.Bernard Coudurier also takes part in programmes recorded on France Musique ( a French radio broadcasting classical music) along with Jacques Merlet or Edith Walter, he was also invited in Great Britain by John Brennan for the BBC.
"Choc du monde de la musique" " shock of the world of music", "Diapason d'or" " Gold dispason", "recommended" by Repertoire, vivedly pay tribute to his discography. The specailized musical newspapers welcome some of his CDs, particularly the complete works of Nicolas de Grigny on the historic organ in Cintegabelle, the complete works of Nikolaus Bruhns and Vincent Lübeck, on the Schnitger organ in Norden (Northern Germany), as well as "die Clavierübung III" by J.S Bach on the Lahm-im-Itzgrund
as standard reference recordings.
Beranrd Coudurier is at present an organ professor at the Music academy and takes part in the regional influence of Besançon. He also teaches harmony for musical keyboards and improvisation.
He is a member of the commission des Orgues non classés/ Committee for unlisted organs for the Direction of Music at the Ministry for the Arts.
